Overview
A New Podcast
Originally developed for the Colorado Department of Labor & Employment, the CDLE podcast had grown beyond its department and into a more personal program for our director. This new podcast instead focuses on the directors own brand, down to the naming, colors, and livelier intro. Video recording and editing, motion graphics, email templates, and YouTube playlist graphics and captions were developed by me.

The Social
Typical of podcasts, there were plenty of opportunities to find cut-downs appropriate for social media platforms. On average, 2-3 cut-downs are created per episode. I try to find a balance between lighthearted content that is meaningful to my director, and content that can also find its way to Coloradans about our work within CDLE.

And Another Thing!
"And Another Thing!" is an inside joke with our director, in that she typically likes to add "just one more thing" to a list of requests. Here, it is not just to the name of the podcast, but another video that is promoted shortly after the original episode is posted. Filmed with the full episode but as a separate bit, the intention is to keep viewers engaged just long enough so that we don't lose them between episodes.
